Her love of fitness and athletics continued at the collegiate level pole vaulting and playing water polo for Virginia Tech. Desiring to increase her knowledge in the health and fitness field she studied and graduated with a BS in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise. Shortly after, Lauren obtained her certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and later added Fitness Nutrition Specialist with Exercise and Nutrition Works (ENW) to her credentials.
