![]() Ryan Morgan - Parker, ColoradoIn 2004, Ryan moved to Colorado and was exposed to both trail and ultra-running. (ultra = any running event past the marathon distance). Amazed by the spirit of its participants, the scenery, and the beauty of exploring mental and physical boundaries he quickly became absorbed with a passion.
He has been awarded several age group awards ranging from 1st to 5th in races throughout Colorado and has also completed the Teton 50 miler on three occasions finishing 6th overall in 2009. However, he credits his greatest accomplishment to a failed attempt at mile 70 during a 100 mile event in 2010. Prior to this DNF he ran to satisfy his own personal interests. He now states that he runs to reflect the better part of himself and to show others what each of us can accomplish if driven towards a passion. Now sponsored by Max Muscle in Parker, Colorado he is focused on helping others with their endurance goals and sharing what he says has been passed on to him to share. His focus race for 2012 is the Leadville Trail 100. For more information you can visit his Facebook page: Running 2 Passion. |
