FOOTBALL NUTRITION
The Central High School Football team recently met with Max Muscle Greeley to discuss how they can use performance nutrition to help them become stronger, leaner and be able to compete at their highest level. Greeley Central coach, Mike Heatherly and players, learned how they can change their nutritional intake during the day, before, during, and after workouts and practices to make sure they are giving their bodies what they need to recover from the high intensity energy outputs. Players were educated on the importance if refueling with the essential proteins, carbohydrates and fats as well as the need for proper hydration in order for them to compete at the highest level possible.
